![]() Thanks for the tips! And yeah, I did worry a bit about that. If it would be more appropriate to get in touch with the Virtual Box team directly, I'd also be happy to do that, but so far as I could tell the protocol is to start here. If I can provide anything more to help or answer any questions about 1Password to add to the discussion, just ask. Neither of us has any trouble with other applications like Notepad, Word, LibreOffice. Both host and guest are running the latest Windows 10.Ĥ. ![]() Enabling bidirectional sharing does not improve things (and isn't desired regardless).ģ. We both do have the latest guest additions installed and have clipboard sharing from host to guest only enabled.Ģ. Are y'all aware of any documentation that might give a rundown of the mechanism by which the clipboard is shared with the guest or otherwise have a more detailed understanding of that process?ġ. I'm about at the end of what I can do with my existing knowledge so I hope I can expand that a bit. 1Password does clear the clipboard and restore prior data after a user-defined amount of time when copying from 1Password if enabled, so that was my first thought, but disabling that setting doesn't seem to improve or change behavior. What I've found makes it sound rather simple – the guest machine's clipboard is kept in sync with the host by guest additions – but that's clearly not happening here. I can only assume that something not obviously related is causing the trouble here, but in order to make a reasoned assessment of what that might be, I'd need to better understand the process between host and guest. Trouble is that about the only thing I have direct insight into is whether or not the data from 1Password is making it to the host clipboard we both see this is happening consistently and as expected. We're both seeing that pasting to a guest machine when data is copied from 1Password on the host machine works rather inconsistently. Hey all! I'm the Windows support lead at 1Password and have been trying to help with this issue between 1Password and Virtual Box.
